My Strengths and Weaknesses

Beside my strengths at my educational institution, I have talents and life strengths that make me unique. One of my strengths is my continuous self-motivation. Regardless of the everyday routine during school, I motivate myself to work and study hard every day. I study 4 hours a day during weekdays and study 24 hours on the weekend. In addition, I work a part-time job as a security guard. The second strength I find in myself is good time-management skills and coping with stress. Besides being a fulltime engineering student, I work 24 hours per week while maintaining my high GPA. In addition, adapting to a new environment is one of my main strengths. I find it very important to be able to work and cope with the new environment; it is a challenge that I really like.  There is a famous Arabic example that I follow which says “like what you do, so you do what you like”. I believe that following this example will lead me to be a successful worker in any workplace by working hard and ethically. On the other hand, I have few weaknesses that I hope to fix very soon. I usually avoid public speeches; also, I speak unconfidently whenever I get the chance.  I already planned to tackle this setback. Joining the Arab Student Association as an event director is an opportunity to practice my public speaking skills through formal communication.
